Rail fixing fasteners are used for fixing railroad rail, as different fixing condition need use different fastener system, includes concrete sleeper fixing system, wooden sleeper fixing system and buried bolt fixing system etc.

For concrete sleeper, should use Screw spike, Elastic clip, Gauge apron, Tie plate etc as below:

2. Clip fasteners: Also known as Pandrol clips or elastic rail clips, these fasteners consist of a spring-loaded clip that grips the rail foot and is secured to the sleeper with a fastening bolt or screw. Clip fasteners provide good resilience against lateral and vertical track movements.

3. Concrete screw fasteners: These are used in concrete sleepers and consist of a steel anchor embedded in the concrete during manufacturing. The rail is fixed to the anchor using a special bolt or screw.

4. Plate fasteners: These fasteners consist of a steel plate that is attached to the sleeper or baseplate using screws or bolts. The rail is then fixed to the plate using clips or other securing devices.

5. Direct fixation (DF) fasteners: These fasteners are used in direct fixation track systems, where the rail is directly attached to the concrete slab or bridge deck without the use of sleepers. DF fasteners typically consist of a specialized anchor or bracket that secures the rail to the concrete surface.

6. resilient fasteners: These fasteners are designed to provide additional damping and isolation between the rail and the sleeper, reducing the transmission of vibrations and noise. Examples include spring dampers, rubber pads, and friction wedges.

The choice of rail fixing fasteners depends on factors such as the type of sleeper or baseplate, the expected loads and stresses, the environmental conditions, and the maintenance requirements of the railway network. It is essential to use appropriate fasteners that meet relevant national or international standards to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of railway operations.
