20 kg/m iron rail is used for mine to transport ore, it is produced by the roller of 22 kg/m rail, means the dimension of height is same as 22kg/m rail, but width is produced narrowly to the required 20 kg/m rail, the actual weight has 12.5 kg/m, 15.3 kg/m, 18 kg/m, 19 kg/m and 21 kg/m, we always have stocks, the material has Q235 and 55Q. Length has 6m, 8m and 10m.
20 kg/m iron rail refers to a type of railway rail that has a weight of 20 kilograms per meter. This is a relatively lightweight rail commonly used in light rail, tramway, and industrial railway systems where low axle loads and lighter traffic volumes are expected.
The term “iron rail” generally refers to older types of rails that were primarily made of iron instead of steel, which is the more common material used for modern railway rails. However, it is possible that the term “iron rail” is being used here colloquially to describe a steel rail with a lower weight specification.
The specifications of 20 kg/m iron rail can vary depending on the manufacturer and the specific application, but typically it has a smaller profile compared to heavier rails used in mainline railways. The rail height (also known as the rail head) is usually around 90-100 millimeters, the base width is approximately 75-85 millimeters, and the web thickness is around 4-6 millimeters.
20 kg/m iron rail is generally less durable and have lower load-carrying capacity compared to modern steel rails. They may also be more prone to wear and deformation over time due to their lower strength and hardness. As a result, iron rails are rarely used in modern railway systems and have largely been replaced by steel rails.
Proper installation, maintenance, and inspection of the 20 kg/m iron rail are essential to ensure its continued safe and efficient operation in the intended application. However, it is important to note that the use of iron rails in modern railway systems is generally not recommended due to their lower performance characteristics compared to steel rails.
